After nine days of divine sojourn at the Gundicha Temple (Janmabedi), the holy trinity – Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra, and Chakraraj Sudarshan – will embark on the grand Bahuda Yatra today, returning to their abode at the Srimandir (Karmabedi).
The air in Puri is thick with devotion as lakhs of devotees prepare to witness this spiritually charged procession that symbolises the Lord’s homecoming.
All rituals at the Adapa Mandap concluded with the final darshan this morning. The three majestic chariots – Nandighosa, Taladhwaja, and Darpadalana – stand ready near the Singhadwara of Gundicha Temple, adorned and waiting for the sacred Pahandi procession.
