New Delhi: Steamed Fish is easy-to-make, delicious and very apt for serving on occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, get-togethers and other parties.

Ingredients of Steamed Fish In Banana Leaves

  • 2 Fish Fillet
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves
  • 4 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
  • 6 Green Chillies
  • 7-8 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Boiled Water As Required

How to Make Steamed Fish In Banana Leaves

1. We first need to marinate the fish. For this, take a bowl, add fish chunks, lemon juice and salt. Keep it aside for 10 mins at least.

2. Now, take a grinder, and add coconut, coriander leaves, green chillies, garlic and cumin seeds to a fine paste.

3. Once done, wash banana leaves and pat try them. Spread it on the kitchen slab and put the marinated fish on top of it. Now spread the paste over it.

4. Fold the banana leaves neatly and steam them in a steamer with plenty of hot water.

5. Serve and enjoy!
