Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to reopen schools for 10th and 12th classes from January 8. The classes will continue for 100 days to prepare students for exams.
A notification from S&ME Dept said the classes will continue for the students to prepare them for competitive examinations.
According to the notification, the classes for 10th will commence from January 8 till April 26. The class 12 students will attend classes from January 8 to April 28.
The practical exam of class 10 will start from April 27 to May 2 and the class 12 students will appear their practical exams from April 29 to May 14.
The Board Exam for class 10 will start from May 3 to May 15. The exam schedule for class 12 is May 15 to June 11.
The state government has issued guidelines for the schools. The coronavirus SOPs will be strictly followed during study and exams.
The classes will continue for 100 days including Saturdays and Sundays. The guidelines issued by the health department and special relief commissioner are mandatory and any deviation will be viewed seriously.
