Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan chaired a high‑level meeting at the State Guest House to review preparations for the disciplined conduct of Rath Yatra and associated festivals in Puri.

The minister stressed that cooperation among all stakeholders — Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, district authorities, police, servitors, and Daitapati Nijog — is essential for smooth celebrations.
Shree Jagannath Temple Chief Administrator Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee briefed the gathering on preparations, including the availability of chariot wood, ropes, fabrics, and other ritual materials. He assured that all requirements for the upcoming festivals are in place.
Senior officials present included Law Department Principal Secretary Dr Pabitra Mohan Samal, Puri Collector Dibyajyoti Parida, SP Prateek Singh, Daitapati Nijog President Ganesh Das Mahapatra, and General Secretary Ramakrishna Das Mahapatra. They discussed security deployment, barricading at key points, and awareness among police and servitors about their responsibilities.
