The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has officially launched the second phase of Plus Two admissions for the 2025–26 academic session.
Starting today at 3 PM, students can apply for vacant seats via the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal.
The deadline for submitting applications is August 31. The first merit list will be published on September 4, with admissions scheduled from September 6 to 10. For students who miss out during this round, a spot admission process will follow, beginning with choice-locking on September 12 and concluding with final admissions on September 18 and 19.
This phased approach ensures that no seat remains vacant across Odisha’s higher secondary institutions. The second phase follows the initial round that began in May, with classes commencing on July 24.
In parallel, CHSE has introduced curriculum reforms for the 2025–26 session, adding Environmental Education and Value Education as compulsory units. These changes aim to foster awareness of sustainability and ethics among students, with the new subjects appearing in the 2026 board exams.
