With all seven members of BTS now officially discharged from South Korea’s mandatory military service, global anticipation has surged—and the iconic K-pop group is officially back in motion.
The members have begun regrouping in the United States, marking the start of a pivotal creative phase for the band.
The excitement kicked off on July 6, when leader RM was spotted flying into Los Angeles. The following day, SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook joined him. According to Dispatch Korea, the group is expected to remain in the U.S. for the next two months, focusing entirely on producing new music. Their extended stay highlights the scale and seriousness of this comeback effort, as they are not expected to return to South Korea during this period.
Meanwhile, other members are also making headlines. J-Hope is preparing for his highly anticipated performance at Lollapalooza Berlin on July 13. Jin is occupied with his first-ever solo world tour, and V, who recently turned heads at Paris Fashion Week, is expected to join the group in Los Angeles soon.
During this phase, BTS will collaborate with a variety of international producers, aiming to deliver a high-quality, full-length studio album—something fans have been awaiting since 2020. This project is particularly significant, marking nearly six years since the group last released a complete album.
Adding to the excitement, BigHit Music recently dropped Permission to Dance On Stage — Live, BTS’s first live album. The record features 22 energetic tracks from their 2021–2022 world tour, including chart-toppers like “Dynamite” and “Butter,” capturing the vibrancy of their global performances.
With a new album in development, the possibility of a world tour, and their full roster finally reunited, BTS is poised for a monumental return—much to the joy of ARMYs around the globe.
