Nayapalli Police arrested Gobinda Behera (30) in a hit-and-run case after he also allegedly attacked the police team.
He had earlier hit a cyclist on Adivasi Gaon Road and fled. Based on Smart City Control Room inputs, police stopped his Swift Dzire near Beherasahi.
When asked to come to the station, Gobinda, along with his wife, mother-in-law and sister, allegedly abused, pushed and assaulted the police. The car used in the incident was seized.
