The Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha, has initiated the full refund of Plus 3 (+3) college admission fees.

A total sum of Rs 69.23 crore has been transferred directly into the bank accounts of 1,11,678 students who paid their admission fees during the First Phase of degree admissions for the 2026–27 academic session.

The refund follows the government’s announcement of the Gyanodaya Scheme, under which free education from kindergarten to postgraduate (KG-to-PG) levels is provided across eligible government and government-aided institutions in the state.

Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj shared the update and issued clear directives for students to verify their accounts.
