As many as 50 doctors have died in India in a day due to the ongoing second wave of COVID-19 taking the toll to 244, revealed the latest data by Indian Medical Association (IMA).
As per reports, Dr Anas Mujahid from Delhi government-run GTB Hospital, who died on May 9, was the youngest casualty recorded.
The 25-year-old junior resident had suffered an intracranial haemorrhage soon after being tested positive for COVID-19 and succumbed within hours.
