Khurda: As many as four minor boys sustained severe burn injuries in a firecracker explosion Gampur village under Begunia police limits in Khurda.
According to reports, the incident took place while the four boys were attempting to lit an unexploded firecracker which burst into their hands leaving them critically injured.
They were immediately rushed to Khurda district headquarters hospital. They were later shifted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar as their health condition deteriorated.
On being informed, police reached the spot and initiate an inquiry into the matter.
