Kanpur: As many as three people, including a minor boy, died after inhaling toxic fumes in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Nandu, 18, his elder brother Mohit, 24, and their neighbour Sahil, 16, all residents of Chaubepur in Kanpur.
According to reports, the incident occurred while they were removing the shuttering of an unused septic tank.
Subsequently, firefighters broke open the tank to rescue the three and rushed them to Lala Lajpat Rai hospital where the doctor declared them ‘brought dead’.
