A tragic road accident occurred early on Tuesday when a private bus named Pramila, en route from Rourkela to Jajpur, collided head-on with a truck near Chandiposh in Sundargarh district, Odisha.
According to initial reports, the impact was severe, resulting in at least two fatalities. More than 20 passengers sustained injuries, with several feared to be in critical condition. The injured were promptly rushed to nearby hospitals for emergency medical treatment.

Police and rescue teams quickly reached the accident site and have initiated relief operations, including extricating trapped passengers and clearing the wreckage. An investigation into the exact cause of the collision is underway.
