Banki: Police here on Monday arrested a youth from Banki area in Cuttack district for allegedly uploading obscene video of his former girlfriend on social media.
The accused, whose identity was not known immediately, was arrested on the basis of the complaint of the victim. He will be forwarded to court today, police said.
According to sources, both the accused and girl met each other few months ago and got into a relationship. During the time, the accused had filmed some obscene videos and captured photographs of the girl.
Both had agreed to tie the nuptial knot. But the girl refused to marry him as her family members disapproved their relationship.
Enraged over her refusal, the youth uploaded the videos of the girl on social media.
