Keonjhar: A youth meets a watery grave while bathing with friends at Machala village under Ramachandrapur police limit in Keonjhar district.
The deceased has been identified as Nihar.
According to reports, the incident occured while the youth was bathing with his friends in the village pond when he accidentally slipped into the water. The villagers tried to search for him for a long time but in vain.
On being informed, firefighters reached the spot and rescued his body after three long hours.
Following the incident, a pall of gloom descended in the village.
