Nuapada: The dead body of a young man was found hanging from a tree at Semelaguda forest in Nuapada district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Raja Sunani (20), of Limpada village under Lakhna police station in Nuapada district.
As per reports, Raja went out from home Tuesday afternoon without informing his family members but did not return. His family members inquired about him from his friends but they could not tell anything.
Often Raja used to go outside the state for work, so his parents thought he might have gone any where for work. Also, they said that Raja has taken a bag with him while leaving home.
After two days, some people of Pahantia village went to the nearby forest to collect woods. there, the villagers found Raja’s dead body hanging from the tree.
They informed about this to the villagers, and they recognised him. Police on receiving information reached the scene and seized the body.
The exact cause of the death is yet to be ascertained. However, it will be known after the investigation, police said.
