New Delhi: Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Tuesday announced the postponement of the UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET).
The examination was scheduled to be held from May 2 to 17. The exam has been postponed in view of the coronavirus pandemic situation.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) said the fresh date for the exam will be announced at least 15 days prior to the exam.
The order by the NTA said keeping in view of the present situation of deadly coronavirus and taking into account the safety of the candidates and exam functionaries.
