The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have unveiled the much-awaited Toxic Ladies & Ladies teaser, introducing the film’s powerful female cast alongside superstar Yash.
After weeks of fan speculation about the leading women, the latest teaser finally offers a stylish glimpse of Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the upcoming gangster drama is scheduled to release worldwide on August 26, 2026, during the Onam festival.
Teaser Opens With a Bold Warning
The 1-minute-41-second teaser begins with a playful warning asking children to stay away while advising parents and grandparents to watch at their own discretion.
A dramatic voice-over explores themes of love, obsession and betrayal before introducing the women who appear to play crucial roles in the story.
The teaser maintains the mystery surrounding the film while hinting at intense action, stylish visuals and emotional conflict.
The teaser introduces Nayanthara riding a bike, and Kiara is hinted at as a dancer. Rukmini, Tara and Huma seem to be plotting something bigger, even though the video doesn’t reveal much.
Towards the end, Yash confidently challenges the women, asking whether they want to face him one by one or together, before launching into an action sequence filled with his trademark style.
The teaser reveal followed a playful exchange on social media.
Earlier this week, the official film account asked fans, “Where are the ladies?” Responding to the post, Yash wrote, “Calm down! Ladies take time to come!”
On Wednesday, the actor officially shared the teaser with the caption, “Ladies & Ladies…”, creating massive excitement among fans.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a period gangster action drama directed by Geetu Mohandas and jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
Yash stars in a dual role, alongside Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The film was officially announced in 2023 as Yash 19, and filming commenced in 2024.
The movie has been filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English before being dubbed into several Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
Originally planned for an earlier release, Toxic was delayed because filming was incomplete. It was later rescheduled more than once due to scheduling issues, regional tensions and global distribution plans.
The makers have now locked August 26, 2026, as the official worldwide release date, coinciding with the Onam holiday period.
