A shocking incident has been reported from Chandragiri under Mohana police limits in Gajapati district, where a Tibetan minor girl was allegedly raped.


Police detained an Odia minor in connection with the case.

According to reports, the girl’s parents had gone to attend a family function, leaving her alone at home. Taking advantage of the situation, the accused allegedly committed the crime. When the family learned about the incident, they lodged a complaint at Mohana police station.

Based on the complaint, police registered a case and detained the accused minor for questioning. Officials confirmed that the boy will be produced before the Juvenile Justice Court soon.

The incident has sparked outrage in the local community, with residents demanding strict action. Police assured that the investigation will proceed swiftly and justice will be ensured for the victim.
