Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm-related activities for the next two days.
According to the weather department forecast, moderate to heavy rains accompanied by hailstorms is expected to occur at isolated places during the days.
Thunderstorm, lightning with gusty surface winds reaching up to 40 km/h is also expected to take place at many places across the State.
Several places in coastal Odisha and other districts including Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Keonjhar Mayurbhanuj, Deogarh, Angul Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Malkangiri, and Koraput districts are likely to witness Mild to moderate rain.
With a thunderstorm alert, a yellow warning has been issued to the districts like Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, and Nayagarh.
