Team Indian led by Rohit Sharma arrived in Nagpur ahead of the first Test against Australia starting February 9th and have already begun their preparation for the same.

On Friday, the Indian side hit the nets at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur, which next week will be hosting its first Test in five-and-a-half years.

Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav were among those pictured hitting the nets on Friday. Ravindra Jadeja, who earlier this week was deemed fit to feature in the first Test, also padded up and had a hit.

Meanwhile, Australia are currently training in Alur, where they are practicing on custom-made wickets. The Aussies began their camp on Thursday (February 2nd) and are expected to practice at the KSCA Cricket Ground in Alur over the weekend.

It is believed that the visitors, on the custom-made wicket, are aiming to replicate rank turners which they believe will be dished out in the first Test in Nagpur starting February 9th.
