Strict Action To Be Taken Against Violators Of COVID Protocols: CP On Rising COVID Cases

Bhubaneswar:  Amid rise in COVID cases, the Commissionerate Police has said that strict action will be taken against the violators of COVID-19 guidelines in the Twin City of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

Reportedly, in order to break the chain of COVID-19 infection, the City police has provided three mantras including wearing masks, maintain social distancing, and preventing unnecessary movements.

“Strict action will be taken against the persons who will be found breaching the shutdown norms in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack,” said Police Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarshi.

Not only public but also traders were also suggested to follow the norms otherwise the shops will be sealed who were violating the norms, he added.

Notably, the Odisha Government has declared 14-day lockdown across the state in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19 infection.
