Puri: A video of the Shree Jagannath Temple captured through drone camera in the close proximity of the structure is doing rounds on social media, raising questions over the security of the 12th century shrine.
A tourism photographer named Animesh Chakravarthy reportedly shot the video through his drone camera and posted it on his YouTube channel.
After the video went viral, a Jagannath devotee Krushna Chandra Padhi questioned the security of the temple by posting some snapshots of the video on his social media account.
The video of 5.43 minutes duration was uploaded on YouTube. The video has featured the temple, Nilachakra flag, changing of Patitapabana and Singhadwar.
The videographer said he had shot the video after taking permission from a police official. He had visited Puri recently for a documentary.
