The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has officially announced the postponement of the Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), which was scheduled to be held on August 31.
The decision was communicated through a formal notification issued by the board.
According to the statement, the examination has been deferred due to unavoidable circumstances. While the board has not specified the exact reason, it emphasised that the decision was taken in the interest of administrative feasibility and candidate convenience.
The Special OTET is conducted for candidates seeking eligibility for teaching positions in government and aided schools across Odisha. The board has assured that a revised date for the examination will be announced soon.
