Safety-Related Modernisation Work: Know The Trains Cancelled, Diverted

Bhubaneswar: In view of safety-related modernisation work in Sambalpur and Khurda Road Division, the East Coast Railway has cancelled, partially cancelled and diverted a number of trains.

According to the EcoR, the services of some trains will be affected for the commissioning of 3rd Line Work between Rupra Road-Norla Road-Lanjigarh Road Stations of Titilagarh-Singapur Road Section under Sambalpur Division and for the commissioning of 3rd Line Work Between Kapilas Road & Nergundi Stations of Cuttack-Jakhapura Road Section under Khurda Road Division.

Train Services will be affected as per the following in view of the commissioning of 3rd Line projects.  

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS:

  • 08317/08318 Sambalpur-Junagarh Road-Sambalpur Passenger from Sambalpur from 14th to 20th October 2022 and from Junagarh Road from 15th to 21st October 2022.
  • 08527/08528 Raipur-Visakhapatnam-Raipur Passenger from Raipur from 15th to 21st October and from Visakhapatnam from 14th to 20th October 2022.
  • 08275/08276 Raipur-Junagarh Road-Raipur Passenger from Raipur from 15th to 20th October 2022 and from Junagarh Road from 16th to 21st October 2022.
  • 08438/08437 Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack Passenger from both directions from 14th to 17th October 2022.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF TRAINS:

  • 18005/18006 Howrah-Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Howrah on 16th October 2022 and from Jagadalpur on 17th October 2022 will run between Howrah & Titilagarh and will remain cancelled between Titilagarh & Jagadalpur from both the directions.
  • 18001/18002 Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Express from both directions from 16th to 20th October 2022 will run between Sambalpur & Titilagarh and will remain cancelled between Titilagarh and Rayagada from both directions.
  • 20837/20838 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar Express from Bhubaneswar from 16th to 19th October and from Junagarh Road from 17th to 20th October 2022 will run between Bhubaneswar and Rayagada and will remain cancelled between Rayagada and Junagarh Road from both the directions.

Diversion of Trains:

  • 12867 Howrah-Puducherry Super fast from Howrah, 12246 Bengaluru-Howrah Duronto Express from Bengaluru and 12245 Howrah-Bengaluru Duronto Express from Howrah on 16th October 2022 will run via Kapilas Road-Naraj Marthapur-Bhubaneswar bypassing Cuttack Railway Station.

Temporary Withdrawal of Stoppages at Nergundi Station from 14 to 17.10.2022:

  • 08411/08412 Balasore-Bhubaneswar-Balasore Passenger, 08453/08454 Bhadrak-Cuttack-Bhadrak Passenger, 08413/08414 Talcher-Puri-Talcher Passenger and 18125/18126 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express from both the directions.
