As forecasted by the Bhubaneswar Regional Meteorological Center, night temperatures across Odisha have risen significantly. In the last 24 hours, only two locations in the state recorded minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.

In the hilly region, G. Udayagiri saw the lowest temperature at 6.8 degrees Celsius, while Semiliguda recorded 9.6 degrees Celsius. In the plains, Phulbani registered a minimum of 10.5 degrees Celsius.

Dense fog was observed in Chandbali, Paradip, Jagatsinghpur, and Kendrapara during the same period, with visibility ranging from 0 to 50 meters. Moderate fog was reported in Paralakhemundi, while light fog was felt in Bhubaneswar, Baripada, Bhawanipatna, and Rourkela.

A yellow warning for dense fog has been issued for coastal districts over the next two days. On the morning of January 30, the warning applies to Khordha, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, and Bhadrak districts. On January 31, it covers Puri, Jagatsinghpur, and Kendrapara districts.

No major changes are expected in the weather pattern for the week, with dry and sunny conditions prevailing, according to Regional Meteorological Centre Director Manorama Mohanty.
