Raurkela Railway Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from near the Duduka overbridge, located between the Laikera and Barpali railway sidings in Sundaragada district.
According to reports, the deceased was approximately 35 to 40 years old, around 5 feet 5 inches tall, and of slim build. He was found wearing black track pants and a blue T-shirt.
Residents reported seeing the man wandering around the area on Saturday before he was allegedly struck and killed by a passing train later in the evening.
Upon receiving information, the railway police reached the spot, seized the body, and transferred it to the morgue at the District Headquarters Hospital for preservation and a post-mortem examination.
