New Delhi: Former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has criticized Centre for mishandling of India’s biggest health challenge.
India on Thursday morning witnessed world’s biggest daily spike in Covid infections. Gandhi has tested positive for coronavirus earlier this week and is quarantined at his home.
Gandhi tweeted describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation on Tuesday as a “hollow speech”. He said the country is not only hit by the deadly coronavirus but also battered by the anti-people policies of the government.
PM Modi on Tuesday in a televised address said “lockdown should be the last resort”, but assured the nation about the availability of medical oxygen and beds.
