Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Odisha today, landing in Pahadpur, the native village of President Droupadi Murmu.
He reached the venue aboard a dedicated Indian Air Force MI-17 helicopter.
President Murmu had already arrived earlier in Pahadpur, where she received a grand welcome from local residents and dignitaries. Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and senior leaders were present to greet the Prime Minister and join the celebrations.
The atmosphere in Pahadpur reflected pride and excitement as the Prime Minister’s visit coincided with the President’s presence in her home village. The event highlighted Odisha’s cultural significance and the strong bond between national leadership and the people of the state.
Officials ensured elaborate arrangements for the Prime Minister’s arrival, with security forces maintaining strict protocols. The visit marks an important moment in Odisha’s political and cultural calendar, as both the President and Prime Minister share the stage in the tribal heartland.
