Bolangir: The Excise officials seized over 7 kg of ganja from Pipalpadar village under Titlagarh tehsil in Bolangir district and arrested three persons in this connection.
The accused have been identified as Tikeswar Sahu, Lipun Sahu and Bijay Gahir.
Based on intelligence, the team of cops conducted a raid at Kumbhapada Chhak and arrested the smugglers. About 7 kg and 150 grams of cannabis were seized with two bikes involved in the smuggling.
The accused have been forwarded to the court. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered in the police station against the drug peddlers.
