The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) today released the much-awaited final results of the Odisha Civil Services Examination-2024.
Exactly 200 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various administrative posts under the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, and in a historic show of strength, 78 women have made it to the select list, far exceeding the reserved quota of 65 women posts.
The Commission, in its official notice No. 2874/PSC dated 26.05.2026, stated that the selections were made on the basis of the Main (Written) Examination held from 31 January to 10 February 2026 and the Personality Test conducted between 14 and 20 May 2026.
Every single advertised vacancy has been filled with zero carry-forward posts.

The top ranker is Bubun Sahoo (Roll No. 402422, SEBC category, selected under UR), followed closely by Sovna Mohanty (Roll No. 232251, UR Female) in second position.
Speaking volumes about the changing face of Odisha’s bureaucracy, women candidates have not only filled their reserved seats but have also secured additional open-category positions, pushing their overall representation to an impressive 39%.
From Sushree Saswatika Mohapatra to Parvati Murmu, the list sparkles with determined young women who have cracked one of the toughest state-level competitive examinations in the country.
The OPSC has emphasised that the select list is provisional and subject to verification of documents, category certificates, and medical fitness. Selected candidates have been advised to regularly check the official website http://opsc.gov.in for further instructions.
This result marks the culmination of a long and rigorous journey for thousands of aspirants who appeared for the Preliminary, Main, and Personality Test stages. For the 200 who made the cut, today marks the beginning of a new chapter in public service – one that will see them shaping policies, delivering governance, and serving the people of Odisha.
