Puri has become the center of global discussions on disaster resilience as the BRICS Disaster Risk Reduction Working Group’s technical meeting entered its second day on Thursday.
Representatives from 11 countries are participating in the three-day conference, which aims to strengthen international cooperation in disaster risk reduction and emergency management.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to attend the event and formally inaugurate the proceedings.
