Nayagarh: One person was killed and five others sustained critical injuries after the van they were travelling in crashed into a trailer near Takara village in Nayagarh district on Thursday.
As per reports, the persons were returning to Athagarh in a van after attending a picnic from Daringbadi. At Takera chhak, the van driver rammed into a trailer which was parked on the road. as a result, one person died on the spot while the other five persons were seriously injured.
The injured persons were admitted to Nayagarh District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. They are said to be in critical conditions.
