In a proud moment for the state, Yash Jain from Kantabanji, Balangir district, has achieved the remarkable feat of securing Rank 1 in the NEET-Super Specialty (NEET-SS) exam for 2024.

Yash Jain, an alumnus of King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, completed his MBBS there and pursued postgraduation at Government Medical College in Nagpur. This extraordinary accomplishment has garnered widespread recognition and inspired countless aspirants in Odisha and beyond.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi personally congratulated Yash for his outstanding performance, highlighting it as a beacon of hope for students aiming to excel in the competitive medical field. “Yash’s achievement has made the entire state proud. His success will undoubtedly encourage others to strive for excellence,” the Chief Minister stated in a social media post.

The NEET-SS is a highly competitive exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). It serves as the sole gateway for admission to super-specialty medical courses like DM and MCh in India. Yash’s exceptional performance underscores his dedication and hard work.

This milestone reinforces Odisha’s growing reputation for producing top-notch talent in diverse fields.
