The inaugurated projects included four National Highway initiatives worth Rs 536.88 crore: Nayagarh Bypass (NH-57), Rigdol–Belgaon Section (NH-59), Reamal Bypass (NH-53), and Kotpad Bypass (NH-63). Additionally, five Roads and Buildings projects worth Rs 274.98 crore were opened, covering Taladanda Canal Right Embankment Road in Cuttack, Ichhapur–Basudevpur Road in Bhadrak, Dhenkanal–Kaimati–Joranda Road in Dhenkanal, Bijepur–Dublabahal Road in Bargarh, and Deobandha–Chandahandi via Fatki Road in Nabarangapur.
Foundation stones were laid for three significant projects: the Kathajodi High-Level Bridge in Cuttack, the Dhalpur–Harabhanga Road in Boudh, and the widening of the Nuapada–Ghatipada section of NH-353.
These investments reflect a balanced focus on strategic highway connectivity and local infrastructure development. The project aims to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, improve road safety, and accelerate economic growth across Odisha.
