Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force, (STF) wing of Odisha Police today disposed of 14kg of brown sugar and 500 kg of Ganja, seized in various cases, in the designated incinerator at Khurda following all due procedures.
According to reports, the drug disposal committee of STF disposed of 14 kgs of brown sugar seized in 14 different cases, and 504 kgs of Ganja seized in four different cases.
Earlier, the STF had destroyed more than 50 kg of brown sugar seized in 45 cases, and more than 132 quintals of cannabis seized in 27 cases.
STF SP, Khurda Sub-Collector, Additional Superintendent, and officers from the State Forensic Laboratory were present during the disposal of the drugs.
