School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond assured that all textbooks will reach students before the summer vacation ends, addressing concerns over delays in distribution.
The Minister admitted that printing issues at certain presses caused some delay. However, he clarified that 90 per cent of the textbooks have already been printed and supplied to schools. He emphasised that the remaining 10 per cent will also reach students before the vacation concludes.
Gond stressed that the government remains fully committed to students’ academic needs. He assured that no disruption in studies will occur due to textbook shortages. His statement came amid reports of delayed distribution in several districts ahead of the new academic session.
Officials highlighted that the timely supply of textbooks is critical to ensuring smooth learning once schools reopen. Gond reiterated that the administration is monitoring the process closely and will resolve any bottlenecks quickly.
