Bhubaneswar: Schools for Class IX and XI students in Odisha reopened today. As per reports, classes for the class 9 and 11 students will continue till April 30.
State School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Sunday reviewed the preparedness of the school authorities.
The Minister also reviewed preparations of the school authorities for the commencement of classes for Class IX and XI students and said that teachers are mentally prepared to complete all the courses in 100 days of classroom teaching.
Earlier, schools were opened for Class X and XII students in Odisha. The reopening of school had evoked enthusiastic response among students who were tired of the long gap and limitations of online education.
Meanwhile, the annual board exam of Class X students will be conducted from May 3-15, while the Council of Higher Secondary Education will hold exams for Class XII students from May 15 to June 11.
