Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government decided to extend the Malati Devi Prak Vidyalaya Paridhan Yojana till 2026-27. The State Cabinet on Tuesday approved a proposal to extend the scheme from 2022-23 to 2026-27.
Under this State Sector Scheme, each preschool child in the age group of 3 to 6 years enrolled in Anganwadi Centre in the State is being provided with two sets of preschool uniforms as per the prescribed colour composition, one pair of shoes & socks and a sweater.
Further, from 2024-25, two pairs of uniforms @ Rs. 100/- per pair, for boys, Two pairs of shirts with divided skirts @ Rs. 150 per pair for girls, one pair of shoes & one pair of socks @ Rs 100 per child, and one sweater @Rs 150 per child will be provided.
