Nuapada: Dead body of a driver who went missing five days ago, was recovered from the bushes near the electric substation at NH 353 under Lakhna police limits in Nuapada district.
The deceased has been identified as Ashok Bagh of Daldali village.
As per reports, on 9th February, in the evening Ashok went to Kurumpuri on his bike. But did not return. His family members called on his phone, but his phone was switched off. They searched for him everywhere, but could not find him.
On 11th February they lodged his missing report at the Lakhna police station. On Monday, his body was found in the bushes near the substation.
Police with a scientific team reached there and initiated a probe into the matter. His body was sent to the hospital for post-mortem. It is suspected that Ashok has been murdered and thrown away in the bushes.
