Bhubaneswar: Following the drastic surge in coronavirus cases across the nation and Odisha, the State government decided to clamp night curfew restrictions in 10 districts that reported a hike in Covid positive cases.
As per the latest notification issued by the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), the night curfew will be clamped in Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kahalandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri.
The night curfew restrictions will come into effect from April 5 from 10 PM to 5 AM.
Special Relief Commissioner’s Office said the restrictions will be imposed on vehicular and people’s movements expect essential services.
