Balasore: Cyber police have arrested a Nigerian from New Delhi for allegedly duping Rs 30 lakh to youth in the Balasore district.
The arrested youth has been identified as Samsung MAK Alika from Nigeria.
Reportedly, the Nigerian guy befriended the victim on Facebook by introducing himself as a young woman from London. First, he gave gold ornaments on his behalf. Then the accused cheated Rs 30 lakh from the youth.
Following this, a complaint has been lodged with the Cyber Police in this regard.
On the basis of the complaint, police registered a case and initiated an investigation in this regard. After pertinent efforts, the cops nabbed the accused involved in this matter.
Further investigation is underway in this regard.
