Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s recent ‘Abba Jaan’ comments have snowballed into a massive controversy. The chief minister on Sunday had said that prior to 2017, people “who said ‘Abba Jaan’ used to digest ration meant for the poor”.
Yogi’s comments were slammed for fanning communal sentiments and have spiralled into a trend on Twitter, where netizens are reminiscing the memories they shared with their “Abba Jaan”.
