Nabarangpur: One person was killed in a road mishap after a bus he was in collided with a tipper near Soampeta in Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources, the private bus ‘Tripathy’, carrying over 50 passengers, was on the way to Nabarangpur from Bhubaneswar when a speeding truck hit it near Somapeta.
Though locals rushed to help, one person was killed on the spot under the impact of the collision.
Meanwhile, the injured were admitted to a hospital here.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe. Cops also seized the ill-fated bus.
