Minor Girl Gangrape Case in Sundargarh: Police Arrest Three Accused Within Hours

A shocking gangrape case in Sundargarh district saw police arrest three accused within three hours of the report.


The incident occurred when a minor girl went to an open area near a riverbank for a toilet break. While she was seated, three youths approached, assaulted her, and raped her one after another. The survivor returned home and informed her parents, who immediately took her to the police station.

Sundargarh SP Amritpal Kaur personally spoke with the survivor, visited the crime scene, and formed multiple teams to track down the culprits. Acting swiftly, the SDPO and local police station teams successfully apprehended all three accused within hours.

Police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and further details will be revealed as the case progresses.
