Sambalpur: A minor boy was beaten to death by his accomplices over sharing the money they received by selling stolen mobile phones. The incident has been reported from Ainthapali police station area in Sambalpur district on Tuesday.
According to reports, the deceased minor was severely beaten yesterday evening at Ph.D. field, and today near Old SDPO office over a dispute of sharing money.
After the minor boy was knocked unconscious, two of the attackers brought him to the Sadar Hospital. But when the doctor declared the minor boy dead, the accused fled the scene. Later, the police conducted an investigation and detained them.
In this connection, Ainthapali police have detained 2 persons and a minor and is investigating the case. As per police, the group steals mobiles from the bus stand area of Ainthapali. But a dispute arose between them over a mobile theft.
