New Delhi: Legendary Indian sprinter Milkha Singh has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently under isolation at his residence in Chandigarh.
The 91-year-old, popularly known as Flying Sikh, tested positive after one of his staff members tested positive earlier this week and the Singh family underwent Covid-19 tests on Wednesday.
The legendary athlete is a five-time Asian Games gold medallist but his greatest performance was the fourth place finish in the 400m final of the 1960 Olympics.
None of the family members including Singh’s wife and former Indian volleyball captain Nirmal Kaur, daughter-in-law Kudrat and grand son Harjai Milkha Singh has tested positive.
