Live Pangolin Rescued In Nuapada, Six Held

Nuapada: The joint task force of Odisha-Chhattisgarh Forest Department Officials rescued a live pangolin in Nuapada district and arrested six wildlife criminals.

The accused have been identified as Chitman Hati (56) ,Duryodhan Majhhi (29), Gobandhan Satnami (35), Balasingh Gahir (62), Bablu azhar (24), and Basudev Rohidas (28).

Based on an intelligence, the officials conducted a raid in Jhakriguda village under Sinapali range in Nuapada district and rescued the live pangoline weighing about 11 kg ,while the accused persons were dealing it.

The pangolin was sent to the District Veterinary Hospital in Nuapada for treatment.
