New Delhi: Actor-turned-politician MP Kangana Ranaut was allegedly slapped by a woman Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at Chandigarh airport on Thursday. The incident happened during a frisking argument while the newly elected MP was heading towards Delhi, reports said.
According to the reports, an inquiry committee comprising senior CISF officers has been set up to conduct a further investigation.
Kangana has been elected as a Member of Parliament from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat of Himachal Pradesh in recently concluded general elections. She defeated Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh by a margin of 74,755 votes.
Kangana was on her way to Delhi for the upcoming meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) scheduled for tomorrow in Parliament’s central hall.
