The much-anticipated JEE Advanced 2025 examination concluded on May 18, with candidates battling challenging questions across two shifts.
Conducted by IIT Kanpur, the exam witnessed thousands of aspirants vying for seats in the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
While the difficulty level varied across subjects, Mathematics emerged as the most daunting section, particularly in Paper 2. Many students reported time-consuming, complex calculations. Physics posed a moderate challenge, with tricky numerical problems, while Chemistry was regarded as the easiest, featuring direct concept-based questions.

Following the exam, IIT Kanpur will release the candidates’ response sheets on May 22, while the provisional answer key will be made available on May 26. Students can then challenge any discrepancies. The final results, including All India Ranks, are scheduled to be announced on June 2, paving the way for JoSAA counselling, which will determine admissions into IITs and other premier engineering institutes.
