India will travel to Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series in July, adding to its packed cricket calendar.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that all matches will take place in Harare on July 23, 25, and 26. The two teams will meet again in January 2027 for a three-match ODI series in India.
India last toured Zimbabwe in 2024, winning the five-match T20 series 4-1. The upcoming series marks another opportunity for Zimbabwe to test its progress against the reigning T20 World Cup champions.
Led by Suryakumar Yadav, India clinched the T20 World Cup title last month on home soil. The squad now looks to maintain momentum with a short-format series abroad.
Zimbabwe, currently ranked 11th in the ICC T20 rankings, surprised many during the World Cup by topping their group and advancing to the second stage. The team’s performance earned praise for its resilience and tactical growth.
The July series offers both sides a chance to fine-tune their squads ahead of future international fixtures. India will likely rotate players to manage workload, while Zimbabwe will aim to build on its World Cup success.
